Sandra Willcox Fitzpatrick

Sandra Willcox Fitzpatrick of Abington, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. due to complications of lymphoma. Sandra was 65 years old. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved with her family to Cheltenham Township, PA in 1960. Sandra attended Lynnwood Elementary, Elkins Park Middle School, and graduated from Abington High School. She remained a resident of Abington, PA with her late husband, Francis X. Fitzpatrick, Jr. and worked at Abington Memorial Hospital, where she retired in 2018. Sandra is survived by her children, Alyson Fitzpatrick (spouse, James Cody Hornung) and Russell Fitzpatrick (spouse, Lauren Fitzpatrick), grandson, Cole Francis Fitzpatrick, sister and brother-in-law, Priscila and Donald Hess, companion, Robert Winter, and numerous nieces and nephews. Please join us in celebrating her life on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Holy Cross Church (140 E. Mt. Airy Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19119) for 10:00 a.m. visitation and 11:00 a.m. mass. The mass will also be livestreamed on Holy Cross’ website, https://holycrossphl.org/, if you prefer to participate virtually. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to your favorite charity in Sandra’s honor.
