Rosemarie Wright Rosemarie Wright was born in 1923, in Butler, Pennsylvania, the third of six children, to Lawrence and Emily Mulholland. She passed away peacefully on January 25, 2022, at age 98 in Blue Bell, PA. It was in Detroit where she met the love of her life, Fenton. The moment she saw him, she removed her engagement ring and put it in her pocket; she knew the man standing before her was the only one for her. Six months later, in 1944, she boarded a train in Detroit to Brownsville, TX, to marry Fenton stationed there as a member of United States Air Force. Rosemarie and Fenton settled in Levittown, PA in 1954 where they raised their three girls and where Rosemarie worked as an outstanding Executive Secretary. Her beloved Fenton predeceased her in 1984. She is survived by her daughters Karen Wright, Margaret Steele and Louise Gately, granddaughter Elizabeth Dokko, grandson Stephen Fenton Gately, her sister Mary Catherine May, her great grandchildren Mara and Anders Dokko, Sons-in-law Condon Brown and Mitchell Gately, and beloved nieces, nephews, and grandnieces. She was an incredible example to her three girls. She taught them that they could do anything, but the most important thing was to love one another and to be there for their families. Whatever was needed, she somehow managed to deliver. She was kind, generous and incredibly humble. She was also fun-loving and laughed often. She was an amazing friend to many. She was thoughtful and never missed remembering birthdays! She loved playing pinochle and scrabble. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved going to Tahoe to play the slot machines on her many visits to her family in California. As her grandniece Kelsey said, “She was a spunky woman, overflowing with love, a dash of sass and big happy laughs. She always had the deepest, most beautiful appreciation for everything in her world. She treasured the people who loved her, and all of the moments spent together.” The world feels empty without her beautiful smile. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Genevieve Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown PA 19031 on Wednesday, February 2 at 10:00AM.
