Ricarda Villalba Morales

Ricarda (Rickie) Villalba Morales passed away peacefully on Monday Sept 24, 2018 at the age of 43. Rickie was born October 7, 1974. She grew up in Jerez de la Frontera south Spain and later lived and worked as a Spanish and English teacher for numerous years in Spain, Ireland and England and spent her last years in Mt. Airy PA, a home she loved. Rickie was passionate about teaching, she had a Bachelors Degree in Education from Facultad Ciencias de la Educacion University of Cadiz Spain and had also achieved Qualified Teacher Status. Rickie loved travelling and did so for many years all over Europe and also America. She was an excellent cook, home decorator and loved spending long hours caring for her garden and plants. She also loved her zumba classes and great friends she met along. Rickie was a loyal wife, wonderful daughter, sister and friend who was always there for support, full of energy and optimism and she was a super amazing mum to her son. The Funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 28th at Our Mother of Consolation Church at 9 E. Chestnut Hill Ave., Philadelphia 19118. Burial followed at the Ivy Hill Cemetery. She is greatly missed but her soul stays with us.
