FROOM Rev. Burton Shaw Froom, Jr, age 82, died on June 18th from Lewy Body Dementia. Burt was raised in San Francisco. He attended seminary in Pittsburgh. Rev. Froom, a Presbyterian Minister, was a parish minister, youth worker with Young Life, chaplain, and a pastoral psychotherapist. Burt's interests included running marathons, hiking, wood working, gardening, social justice activism, baking bread, and history. Burt is survived by his wife, Louise Lisi, brother George Froom and his partner Patti Mckay, daughters Elizabeth Froom and Rebecca Froom, sons-in-law Eduardo Maravi and Alec Aman, and grandchildren Alejandra and Benjamin Maravi, and Micah Aman-Froom. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23rd, at 10:00 AM, at Summit Presbyterian Church (6757 Greene Street, Philadelphia, PA 19119).
