Patricia A. Aiman

d. February 21, 2024

A McDonalds cheeseburger, chocolate milkshake and French fries brought a smile to Patricia A. Aiman’s (Aunt Patsy) face when relatives visited her at the Artman Lutheran Home. While enjoying her meal she would often speak lovingly of her life growing up in Wyndmoor, PA with her mother and sisters and her career as a writer for various publications. Patricia passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024. She was 95 years old.

Patsy graduated from Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) with an Associates Degree and where she developed her love of writing.

She was a writer for Iron Age magazine which was a publication devoted to the steel industry. She also enjoyed writing her “Over the Hedge” column for the Springfield Sun where she wrote local interest articles.

Patsy loved her many cats and dogs and was a proud supporter of the SPCA of Montgomery County.

She was predeceased by her parents James and Sarah (Wennas) Aiman and her sisters and brothers-in-law Ellen (Douglas) Clarke and Janet (Bruce) Waechter.

She is survived by her nephews and nieces Rick (Lauren) Waechter of Weston, MA, Sue (Kevin) Janke of Noblesville, IN, Jill (Jim) Cornell of Long Lake, MN, Doug (Francine) Clarke of Lewiston, NY, and Patricia (Jake) Miller of Kennett Square, PA and several great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend its appreciation to the Artman Luthern Home for taking such wonderful care of Patsy.
