HARKINS Margaret “Peggy” Columba (nee McNulty) Of Wyndmoor, PA died January 10, 2018 at St. Mary’s Center, Cherry Hill, NJ. She was 97.7 years old. Born in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA she was one of seven children of Patrick Hugh McNulty of Creeslough, County Donegal and Margaret Mary McGuigan of Germantown, Philadelphia, PA. She was the granddaughter of Bridget Gillespie of Glencolmcille, County Donegal and Charles McGuigan of Newtownstuart, County Tyrone. In 1924 the family moved to Wyndmoor, PA where she spent the rest of her life. She was preceded in death by sisters Mary Gallagher and Kathleen Pramba and brothers Joseph V. and Patrick J. McNulty and her spouse Francis B. Harkins. Peggy is survived by two sisters Helen Harkins of Wyndmoor, PA and Theresa Bones of Cherry Hill, NJ and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A 1939 graduate of Springfield Township High School and a life long parishioner of Seven Dolors Catholic Church. Peggy volunteered at Military Hospitals during World War II and held chief bookkeeping positions at Burnell Photography Company for twenty-eight years and General Electric Company for twenty-eight years. Relatives and friends may call at St. Genevieve Roman Catholic Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10AM. Funeral Mass 11AM. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA. Prayers for Peggy will be cherished.
