Louis F. Aiello, II

Louis F. Aiello ll, 86, of Chestnut Hill, passed away peacefully in the presence of his family on December 18th, 2022. Louis was born in a row home on Shawnee St. in Chestnut Hill on August 4th, 1936 to Luigi and Maria Aiello. He grew up in our Mother of Consolation Parish where he married his wife, Elaine Maza Aiello of Mt. Airy, in 1961. Louis is preceded in death by his parents, Luigi and Maria Aiello, wife Elaine M. Aiello, son, Louis Aiello lll, granddaughter, Emily Aiello, and brothers Gabriel and Angelo. Louis served in the Air Force and went to St. Joseph's College and Drexel University where he studied Accounting and Electrical Engineering. He worked as a senior electrical draftsman for many engineering firms working on pharmaceutical and nuclear power plants. Louis served his community as committeeman and on the board of the Chestnut Hill Community Association for many years and took pride in serving his community. Louis is survived by his Children, (Susan Aiello), Gina Aiello, Mariann Trice (David), Christopher Aiello (Krista), and Lisa Martin(Christopher). His Grandchildren, Maria, Hunter, Michael, Thomas, Joshua, Andrew, Sarah, Giovanni, and Daniel as well as three great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in the United States and Italy. A private family viewing and burial will be held at: Jacob F. Ruth 8413 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118, on Wednesday, 12/28/22. Please send condolences or flowers to the funeral home.
