Gerald Christian Romig, III

On March 16, 2023 at 5:53pm, Gerald Christian Romig III (Chris), of Erdenheim, passed into glory in the arms of his savior. He lives on in his beloved daughters, Sarah Joy Romig Wastle (m. Brian) and Madeline Hope Romig Hause (m. Tim), the mother of his daughters, Clare Hedrick, his siblings, Scott Romig (m. Allison), Meredith Romig Russell (m. Hank), brother in law Michael Concannon (m. Wendy Romig Concannon, dec.), his nieces and nephews, his sweet huskies, Cody and Chubbs, and the countless cherished family and friends he made along the way. In death, he is joyfully reunited with his mother, Judith Scott Romig Haab, his father, Gerald Christian Romig Jr, and his sister, Wendy Romig Concannon. Chris was laid to rest next to his dear Granny and Grandfather Romig in a beautiful private ceremony with his immediate family on Wednesday the 22nd of March. In Chris’s memory, consider taking a long walk in the Wissahickon and immersing yourself in the beauty of nature. Make friends with a stranger. Show kindness to someone in need. Put on your favorite song and let it take you away. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Project HOME, a Philadelphia nonprofit that empowers unhoused people in our community by providing housing, occupational education, and employment.
