Florence Rose Melo

Florence Rose Melo, age 99, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Born in Philadelphia in 1926 to a large Italian family with a long career in accounting working for several auto dealerships in the Philadelphia area. She was predeceased by her parents and all her eight siblings. Florence is survived by loving family members in Maryland and Florida, and many dear friends in the Philadelphia area. The family would like to extend thanks to the staff at Atria Lafayette Hill for their loving care of Florence over the last five years. Also, our thanks to Keystone Care Hospice for their help during a difficult time.

Funeral Mass will be held on April 30th at 10am at Our Mother of Consolation Catholic Church (9 E. Chestnut Hill Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118).
