Christine Breslin

Christine Breslin of Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania, passed away in her home on October 31, 2024 at the age of 66. She was surrounded by her beloved family.

She is survived by her siblings, Lorraine Weicker, Virginia Mordell, Stephen Breslin and Dolores Breslin as well as her nieces and nephews, Nicole Goetter, Timothy Weicker, Melissa Gomez, Kevin Breslin, Kristy Breslin-Klevinsky, Andrew Weicker, Matthew Breslin and Jacqueline Breslin Lane. 

Christine was the youngest daughter of John and Joan Breslin of Philadelphia, PA. 

After graduating from Archbishop Ryan High School, Christine spent over 25 years working as an insurance underwriter and reinsurance broker. She went back to school at 40 years old to get her college degree at Holy Family University. She spent her retirement in support of abused women as a victim advocate in the Bucks County Courthouse and volunteer at A Woman’s Place consignment shop.

Christine was an avid scuba diver and adventurer who loved all animals, fish, and birds. 

A viewing at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. will be held on Friday, November 8, at Our Mother of Consolation, 9 E. Chestnut Hill Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. Reception to follow at the Venetian Social Club.
