Charles M. Stewart

Charles M. Stewart “Charlie”, a.k.a. Pops, suddenly went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2022, at the age of 66. Most recently of Safety Harbor, FL where he was living out his dream with his beloved wife Loretta (née McNulty). He was originally from Philadelphia and lived in Pottstown, PA, for many years. Charles was predeceased by his parents Charles E. and Rita Stewart. Beloved father of Charles J. (Beth), Christopher (Amy), Matthew (Chrissy). Cherished Pops of Taylor, Charles E., Alena, Ruby, Emily, Paige, Logan and Piper. He is also survived by his brother Joseph (Sue) and his sister Monica (Stephen) Curry. Brother-in-law to Kathleen and Larry Pierce, Anne and Bob Bennett, Stephen McNulty and Jef Shaw, Maureen and Lew Kaplan. Nephew of Sister Martina Lavin and Richard and Pat Stewart. Cherished uncle to Andy, Lauren, Joseph, Michael, Ryan, Aidan, Kayla, Killian, Joseph and Rachael. Charlie was a true friend and mentor to all. In retirement, he enjoyed volunteering at Meals on Wheels. He was a coach of Little League baseball for many years. He was an avid Eagles fan and season-ticket holder. Charlie loved his dogs Krimpet and Sweetie Pie along with his crazy, talking bird, Pete. He was a dedicated employee of Sunoco/Energy Transfer for 42 years, after which he retired in 2018. He will be greatly missed by his entire family, and friends from near and far, and will leave his legacy with us forever. A visitation will be held Friday December 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30AM at George Washington Memorial Park Chapel, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
