Barbara A. McGlade

McGLADE BARBARA A. McGLADE, age 60, from Wyndmoor, passed away on September 10th, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Andrew J. Sr. and Mary T. McGlade. Sister of Michael, Eric, and the late Andrew J. Jr. and Kathleen. Barbara was born on February 3rd, 1961 in Chestnut Hill Hospital. She grew up in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania surrounded by many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. She was a key volunteer for the United States Marine Corps and she played a very big part in the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Some of Barbara’s favorite hobbies were baking, traveling, and bowling. Barbara was a loving, devoted sister to her brother Eric, who she adored and helped raise. She was looking forward to his upcoming wedding this March to his beautiful fiancé Erin. Relatives and friends may call at Holy Martyrs Church, 120 Allison Rd., Oreland, PA 19075, Saturday, Sept. 18th at 9:30AM. Funeral Mass 10:30AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s name may be made to The American Legion Post #100, 7999 Elm Avenue, Glenside PA 19038.
