Anna Rose Fitzpatrick, “Nancy” (nee-O’Brien) of Wyndmoor and formally Philadelphia, peacefully passed away on January 22, 2021. Wife of the late Francis X. Fitzpatrick, Sr. Mother of Michael, Kevin (Barbara) and the late Francis X., Jr. (Sandra). Also, survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy loved her family, extended family, and a large circle of friends. She worked for many years with her husband, Frank, at 21 West in Chestnut Hill where she was able to extend her warm and welcoming personality to numerous patrons. Nancy’s highlight of the year was the Wyndmoor, Memorial Day parade. Family and friends would gather early to wave the Veterans on and then a large family gathering and bar-b-que would follow; all were welcome. Celebration of Life Mass will be held on February 13th at Saint Genevieve’s Church in Flourtown PA. Respects and visitation will be held from 9-10 AM, Celebration of Life Mass will start at 10AM. We are going to try to have the Mass live streamed and will post a link when and if available. We understand if you are not able to attend; please do not feel obligated, if you can’t make it, have a toast of your favorite beverage and do the Mummer Strut. She was a true Philly girl and would love to have one last dance; her spirit will always be with us. We want to hug and hear stories from all but ask instead for a nod and a smile (even if it’s behind a mask). Mom will be buried with Dad at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at later date. For family and friends who cannot attend in person here is a link for the Celebration of Life Service at 10AM at Saint Genevieve Parish on February 13,2021 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1JfmyLNbGqiuKx-CtYRMsQ/featured
