Andrew Paul Loughran Andy, 64, resident of Harleysville PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26th, 2022. Andy is survived by his parents, Frank and ML Loughran, his siblings John (Peggy), Sarah Loughran Trager (Mike), Alfred “Robin” Loughran (Terry), Mary Ellen McMichael and Frances Ann Garvey (Paul) as well as 9 nieces and nephews, a grand niece and nephew and the extended Loughran and McKinney family. Andy is a 1976 graduate of Springfield Township High School where he honed his mechanical and electrical skills at the Montco Vo-tech School. After a lengthy career in the alarm business, Andy concluded his work life with Sears hardware in East Norriton where he enjoyed the interaction with customers and colleagues. Andy was known for his respect for all people, his endless stories and conversations with family and friends and his humor. He had a love for all things car related and enjoyed painstakingly restoring a 55 Chevy (2nd fastest car in Springfield Twp, circa ‘70s) with his brother and friends, his dragster, sprint car racing and parts and tools galore. He was adored by his nieces and nephews for being simply - “Uncle Andy!” Relatives and friends may call at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, Saturday, March 5th at 9:30AM.
